great base for exploring madrid's landmarks and parks
I had a great time walking around and visiting famous spots like Parque del Retiro, just a little over 2 km away, and the fine Royal Palace of Madrid, a bit over three kilometers from the hotel and accessible to the best of Madrid.

Really enjoyed the price of our suite and its essentials. The hotel had a peaceful and decent location to major parks.

The double room was gorgeous, included a shower and two sinks. The breakfast was outstanding and complete with pastries, juices plus even a Japanese corner. Booked the hotel for its marvellous and beautiful location close enough to the Paseo de la Castellana and restaurants open before 9pm.

Book breakfast with your room reservation to avoid high separate charges. The room's excellent views are worth it.

The place, next to the subway and where I had to go. The super attentive staff, they take your suitcase up and down... those details that I guess people with a lot of money value especially. Pillow letter. There was a nespresso in our room that you could use. A detail, really.
For that dough, the room wasn't especially big. The bathroom items, being a five star has nothing different from others like sewing kit for example or shoe sponge. The breakfast was disappointing: a lot of piano playing, a lot of change of cutlery but ... there was no information about whether you could ask for eggs or not, in fact there were none and when we asked they made them for us and there were no pancakes or crepes for breakfast. For my taste, it's honestly not a five star. I have gone to hotels in Madrid with less stars and much better breakfast. Honestly, breakfast is a pasta and does not compensate.

The Beautiful King Room was spacious and perfect for our family. The 65" flat screen TV and the comfortable bed. We loved the excellent city views and the convenient access to a metro station just outside the hotel.
Gym access was a bit challenging.

My recent stay was a cozy retreat with a spacious room featuring a large TV, and the breakfast buffet had tons of options, including a make-your-own omelet station. Loved the complimentary anniversary treats too! Would choose this place again.

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Met on the facade, all quickly decorated. There were minor remarks, but they did not affect the overall assessment. The air conditioning wasn't working in any way. They said it heats itself, so it does not work. But in the evening there was a very muzzle from the window, they even put another frame. So I'd like to make it a little warmer tonight... What I always hate about hotels is when there's no good light from the ceiling. It's dark and uncomfortable. But that's the fashion now (we're sorry they don't ask). The Internet was working well. All questions were answered instantly by the staff... It's downtown. And it's not far from the old center. And I liked the trust in the guests - we ourselves said how much we took from the mini bar, no one went to check (in some places walk and take your room - it's terrible).
Sometimes the best is the enemy of the good. The important thing is that it doesn't get worse. Hold the bar.

Thanks very much for a very nice stay, couldn't recommend more. The staff is helpful here, the services are superb, and location is EXCELLENT just next door to a metro station as well as the art museums. Overall the room is good sized, air conditioned and includes cable channels, a refrigerator, tea and coffee making equipment. The breakfasts is wonderful and outstanding with lots of food.

The cleaning. The staff's attempt to counteract organizational shortcomings
The arrival. The reserved car park was full and we could not get off and land from it. The room (entrance 15h) was not available until 16h. Health problems required me to make use of the bed, I had to stretch out on the floor in the hall. The staff wanted to make amends with the breakfast service. The 3-bed room, were 2 very comfortable and a child's folding. The hotel accepts pets, it does not say anything about the amount that must be paid until you have made the reservation and you call to confirm. It costs 22 euros! We were not charged for this as compensation for the inconvenience. We did not have the pet pack either. Reason: there were 7 pets accommodated. The check-in/out ceremony should be shorter, especially when you expose the urgent need to get to the room.
